Breathing. We are born with the ability, yet by adulthood many feel as if they cannot catch their breath - both figuratively and literally. In this workshop you will learn:
- how the breath works (basic anatomy & physiology)
- breathing's relationship to the mind and the emotions
- how to make the most of each breath
- breathing exercises to increase health, awareness and relaxation
In yoga we use the breath to bring more vitality (sometimes called "life force" or prana) into the body. This workshop can be the first taste of such an experience. No yoga experience is necessary. Registration is required.
